We snapped these photos last month at our favorite restaurant the Sunday before Jack’s 1st birthday.
Since we go there every week, all of the waitresses know us and are completely in love with Jack-Evan. Thankfully, they didn’t mind us letting Jack dig into the special dessert they brought him when they all sung Happy Birthday.
(Don’t worry….Kevin and I were good patrons in the end, and cleaned up after him in hopes that we would still be warmly welcomed there the next weekend!)
I can’t believe it. I’m now 26 years old. You remember that ’90s pop song by Vitamin C called “Graduation”, and it says “….wonderin’ where we gonna be when we turn 25″?
Welp. I’ve been there, done that, bought the tshirt had the baby.
And now I’m marching on along, edging my way towards 30. Kevin asked me today if 26 feels any different than 25 (he’s 6 months younger than me). I told him no…but I’m sure when I start hitting 28 and 29 I’ll begin to freak out.
Ok, well my birthday was actually this past Monday, December 1st, but I just HAD to have an excuse to post that adorable birthday greeting sent to me by my bloggy friend, Amber from Classic Housewife! (formerly known as Amber from Bringing Good Home!). Once upon a time, I went to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese.
My friend Tyler had turned 1 year old!
We sang some songs….
Played some games…
…and rode some rides!
I even gave my friend a new toy.
I can’t wait until I have my 1st birthday, because mommy will finally let me…
