Ok…here it is - the serious, thoughtful, fun (and perhaps downright goofy at times) list of activities for all of you other stay at home’ers out there!
In no particular order or organized frame of mind..

- Develop a daily routine based on FlyLady advice
- Learn how to make homemade greeting cards
- Take an obedience class with your dog
- Read a good book about the type of animal you own
- Learn how to create your own website
- Start a free blog about your home life (Wordpress.com, Blogger.com)
- Start a free blog about things you are passionate about
- Get a library card and actually go visit!
- Volunteer to read to children’s groups at your local library
- Create an excercise routine using library videos
- Check out free investment videos from the library and learn to save
- Join SavingAdvice.com forums for great money advice
- Bone up on your stock market knowledge
- Start a Keepers at Home program with your little girl…
- …or a Contender of the Faith program with your son
- Learn something new from the humerous folks at SoYouWanna.com
- Make your family a homemade Wendy’s style Frosty
- Participate in the many blog giveaways on the internet
- Get creative and rearrange your furniture
- Deep clean your entire home…room by room
- Reinvest in the art of snail-mail with birthday and anniversary cards
- Get creative and sell your wares on Etsy.com
- Upload your original artwork to Cafepress and sell your own products to the public!
- Join a mommy group or women’s club in your area
- Seek out a Bible study in your local town
- Learn how to cook something new
- De-clutter your home, room by room
- Create a “how to be debt free” plan (DaveRamsey.com is a good start)
- Make it goal to learn about a certain topic each week
- Organize your family’s closets so everything is neat and easy to find
- Volunteer to do your husband’s chores once a week (he’ll thank you!)
- Make sure you look presentable when your husband arrives home
- Always greet your husband with a smile! Your attitude creates the evening atmosphere!
- Turn up the radio and dance…naked, if you’re alone.
- Learn how to garden and grow herbs, tomatoes and strawberries
- Start your own consulting business on topics you’re advanced at
- Start a grocery delivery business in your area
- Pet-sit (for money!) in your home or theirs
- Run an in-home daycare
- Hold a weekly play group for moms in your town
- Start your own local book club or reading group
- Join MySpace or Facebook to connect with old friends (if you’re under 35!)
- Consider homeschooling your children
- Visit a local nursing home and bring homemade goodies
- Keep a daily written journal of your thoughts
- Write poetry (no one has to see!)
- Research your family tree through many generations
- Take up photography
- Invest in your prayer life
