Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Hurray!  It’s baseball season for our local team!

Since my daddy is crazy about sports, what better way to
celebrate his 25th birthday than to go to one of the first games of the summer season?

It was my first sports event and dad was so proud.

“Wake up boy..” he would say when he caught me snoozin’ through a pitch.

For dad’s birthday, mommy arranged for my Aunt Dee & Uncle Chuck (dad’s sister and brother-in-law) to meet us at the game.  The live in Florida, and drove a long way to spend the weekend with us.

Dad was so happy to see them!

It was also my first time meeting them.  I think they liked me.  :)

What’s that…a big, spikey baseball big fish in the crowd!

That’s just our mascot, “Blowey”.  He’s funny!

I had a great time, and was a very good baby for mom and dad.

Well, until the 9th inning.

Our team was up by 4 points, and I figured it was time to go home.  So I let out a huge cry to let mommy and daddy know it was late.  Of course I stopped when we left the stands. :)

Ahhhhh….what a fun, tiring night!

  1. Awwww. I remember our son’s first baseball game – he was 9 mos. old. And he wasn’t real impressed and we had to leave a little early too. ;)

His first football game was in the living room, at 3 months old sitting in Daddy’s lap with the Cowboys on the big screen. We even got it on video as “AJ’s first football game.” lol!

Isn’t it wonderful to have those little tiny memories like that on video or in photos?! Nothing on earth can replace such things…i can’t imagine living in an age without memory capturing media.
