I'm one of the ol' timers you speak about and I think your idea is wonderful! I do not enjoy housework one bit and now that I have a home-based business, I can find all kinds of ways to ignore the need for housework. But your method will be implemented here immediately. You're right. My head knows if I do the little swipes everyday I won't have to face the big mess. Thanks for reminding me ... yet again. OK. Hey Briggie! This tip is really more for newlyweds..those of us who got dumped into a life of cleaning – when before we never did much…it’s something I had to learn -harshly!- in my newly married life. Right now there are 2 of us and our bathrooms use to look like 10 people lived here during our first few months of marriage! I’ll be having my first baby in May…and plan on teaching my kids to keep clean after themselves (something my mom never really taught me). But who knows?
