Win a Free Binkie Basket Pacifier Holder!

CONTEST IS CLOSED AS OF

10 PM EST, SUNDAY, 2-3-08

GOOD LUCK!

Let the games begin!

This week, Little Jack’s Corner is participating in our very first Bloggy Giveaway Carnival.  This particular carnival is hosted by Shannon, over at the Rocks In My Dryer blog, and participation is running in the hundreds already.

I personally know how utterly exciting it is to finally win something (don’t you get a wee bit sad when you learn you didn’t win?).  Now it’s our turn to offer one of our readers a chance to experience a winning thrill of her (or his?!) own!

Ok, for all of you moms out there (and grandmoms, and aunts too!) you know how frustrating it is when your pacifier addicted toddler loses that almighty Binkie.  Talk about chaos!  Well, with 2 children under the age of 4, my sister-in-law Michelle, knew that frustration all too well.  So one day, during all of her chores (and amidst crying babies) she dreamed up the Binkie Basket – a stuffed animal, with a handy attatched basket and tie’able ribbons, perfect for storing pacifiers anywhere within reach.

For our giveaway, Little Jack’s Corner has teamed up with Michelle’s Binkie Baskets  (www.BinkieBaskets.com) to offer you a free, one-of-a-kind original Binkie Basket of your choice!

The winner of our contest will be able to choose one basket from any of the Binkie Baskets listed in the Binkie Basket Etsy Store.  There are currently many different designs to choose from ranging from bunnies to ducks to lambs to bears.  They’ll be the perfect Easter present (they’re very cute when filled with jelly beans).

CONTEST RULES:

Contest runs Monday, Jan. 28 through Sunday, Feb. 3 at 10 pm EST

  • Please leave a comment on this post only about why you deserve this

  12. I deserve this because I broke my toe yesterday while going to get my 8 month old for a diaper change. To add insult to injury he threw up all over his crib last night and was up screaming from teething pain all night. Having a great place to put his binky so I do not have to search for it would be wonderful.

  14. after reading some of the other entries, it’s difficult for me to say i “deserve” this… but after the last week of holding a feverish, vomiting toddler and carting her around the house while trying to find a binky under the couch, in the car, in the diaper bag, etc… i would LOVE one of these! she has a gazillion binkies, i just never know where they are… :)

  15. Wow! I have 2 new nephews coming…one in March and one in May….this would make a super cute gift! Thanks for the chance!

  17. My younger daughter is only almost 8 months old, but we already can’t ever seem to find the pacifiers! (Do they hide with the mismatched socks, or what?) I would love to be able to stash a paci with a stuffed animal (which, being much larger, is harder to misplace)!

  18. I don’t know about me deserving this, but I know it would be great for the gradual weaning off the Binky – we’re not looking forward to it, but I think this would help!

  19. The elephant one is my favorite. Please sign me up.

  20. The only way my now 2yo son got broken off his binkie was because they all got lost! Where do they go, with the missing socks?!? Now my 7mo daughter is constantly sending us on a frenzied hunt everytime we can’t find hers. (And Lord help me if my son finds it!) These are such a cute idea, and practical to boot. Count me in, please!

  21. What a cute and useful product. I have never heard of anything like this before!

Have fun with all the contests!

  22. I deserve this because I am always losing things and this would be a great (and cute) way to keep track of things like binkies!

  23. Thanks for the giveaway :)

  24. What a great idea… and so cute too! I have 2 little boys both still using binkies. Something like this would be perfect for those middle of the night binkie hunts! Count me in.

  25. I’ve never seen anything like it….I love it! Great way to keep those binkies out from under the bed!

  26. My last 2 kids I brought pacifiers to the hospital to get them used to them. My husband couldn’t stand waking up during the night with a kid crying for a lost pacifier so my son found his thumb. Now we are trying to get my 4 year old to stop sucking his thumb and it’s been a hard fight. I’m due next month with twins and my husband and I are at it again. We both believe that pacifiers are better than thumbs (especially with reports of preventing SIDS) but he really doesn’t want to wake up to search for paci’s for 2 kids- I would love to win this it’s a great invention!

  27. That is darling! I wouldn’t use it for a binky, though. We have a little boy who’s potty training, and I think he’d like to look in it to get his treats for using the potty.

  28. This is just awesome! Would’ve come in handy during those times when the paci’s kept falling out of the crib. If I win, it would be useful for our next child, for sure!

  34. I need this for my Binky Obsessed baby!
    dansan826 at yahoo.com

  35. I like the teddy bear one! I need one of these for our next baby. I remember being so tired of getting up and trying to find a pacifier in the middle of the night that I just put 5 pacifiers around Carson. He would cry and reach until he could find one. The only problem is some would fall and get lost behind the crib. With this, I could put them in there and they’d be there every night!

  36. Love it! What a great idea!

  37. maybe I deserve it because I followed directions??? LOL
    No?
Ok, I have 7 kids and we lose everything. I need help!!!

  38. I deserve it because…my husband just got back from deployment and leaves for another one later this year, so I don’t have a big strong man to move the crib for me so I can retrieve all the lost pacifiers!!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I hope you get your cookie dough fix soon :)

  39. My 1 month old daughter will eventually make this item one of my favorite; who doesn’t need help with cleaning up after the kids? :)

  42. This would be wonderful to have on hand for our next baby.

  43. I would give it to my friend! Please enter me! ernestsgirl82@yahoo.com

  44. I not only deserve this, I NEED one of these because I’m 17 weeks pregnant!

  45. I have two reasons for needing this. The first is that our son is working on getting rid of his “noony.” He is required to keep it in a safe place in his room when he is not in his bed. This would be a cute safe place. The second is that we are expecting in May and remember trying to find the darn thing when we needed it in the early infant days.

  46. I love your blog layout! And as the mom of a binkie (or gee-gee, as he calls ‘em, since he’s just saying the last half of that word) OBSESSED toddler, I’d love one of these! Thanks for the chance!

  47. I have a friend with a baby that I would love to give this to.Great giveaway! Count me in.

  51. I have a baby coming in june, and my older son loved his binky, hopefully the little girl will too! Bear one is cute

  52. Adorable!

  53. I have a toddler who we are just training to leave his binkie in his crib. It would be so nice to have one of these so that it is always in the same place. What a clever idea.

  54. Oh, I wish I had this when my son was a baby – I can remember hours spent searching for the binky when it was just hidden in blankets!

I am due in may – and am sure I will be needing one for this baby!!! Awesome.

  55. Already tonight, I’ve made four trips to my son’s room to replace his binkie – and it’s tough to find those things in the dark!

  56. I am due in 5 short weeks so I am so in need of this. Wish me some luck.

    midwestmommy@gmail.com

    taowyn (at) gmail (dot) com

  61. because a lost binky means mommy will have lost her mind

  62. Oh boy, we have lost tons of pacifiers. We have spent a small fortune on them! Where, oh where do they go?!? Nothing grosses me out more than when my little one finds one that we’ve lost for ages. Ewww, where did she get it and how long has it been missing? Are there any cooties on it? Blech. That’s so gross!!! I love the pink lamb Binkie Basket and the Valentine Binkie Basket. These are so clever. I hope you make a mint on these, they are SO needed!!

  63. Very cute! Thanks for the contest.

  64. I deserve this, because my closest friend is expecting and I want to be able to give her gifts that are not only unique but also practical. I want to get her things she’ll use but not the same stuff all the other moms have…and I think this qualifies!

  65. I have a 10 mo who is addicted to the pacifier. WIth a toddler in the same room, trying to keep them from waking each other is a nightmare! I deserve this because I deserve to sleep! LOL… If Mal could find an extra paci, he would not cry and wake up his brother. And then I could actually sleep! These are very very cool….

  66. I have a baby and am constantly losing her binkies! I can use some help! Thanks for offering such a generous giveaway, and thank you for the chance to win!

  67. I would love to win this for my baby. Not only do these get lost at night when she sleeps and we have trouble finding them in the dark, we have several cats, and if one of her binkies if left laying somewhere, the cats make off with it. It would be wonderful to have a designated spot where we can leave them and the cats can’t get to them. They know they will be homeless kitties if they get in the crib. Thanks for entering me.

    Jennifer (dj3hill98@bellsouth.net)

  68. Because it would mean more sleep for me a very very sleeped deprived mama.
